Luke and I at Hillsborough State Park. Sorry I still can't get these pictures going the right way, but I wanted to put in anyway because I really like it.

Luke in the kitchen helping me make banana bread. He loves to cook, and grabs his stool so he can help every time I am in the kitchen making something. He even likes doing the dishes (for now).

Luke and his new machete chopping his way through the "jungle". Micheal, one of the grounds keepers around here likes Luke, and gives him all the toys he finds. This day it was a TOY machete. As you can imagine Luke is very nice to Micheal.
Red finally gets a day at the beach...
Ahhh Nickos..... finally we find a breakfast place worth going to. You would think in a place as big as Tampa this would be easy, but no, it took about 6 months of testing to find a truly greasy spoon. Gotta give it to us greeks, we know breakfast! Elvis even ate here once. I know because it is highlighted on the menu, and  there is a plaque labeling the booth he was in.
Fort De Soto....One of our favorite places to be.
A rat snack in the trail at Hillsborough State Park (not dangerous). This was about 5min. into our hike. That day we also saw snake eggs, 6 baby gators and there mom, a big gopher tortuous (rare to see wild) , a water moccasin (dangerous), and a lunar moth. It was an awesome day.

Luke hang out in the trees.

Luke, mastering the playground at Fort De Soto campground.

Some nice photos take at our camp site in Fort De Soto

The moon was beautiful. Fish were jumping out of the water like it was on fire, and a whole family of raccoons decided to join us.

videos

Luke, on Christmas eve opening up his farting hippo. This is still a big hit! Thank you very much Aunt Pat, Uncle Paul, and Aunt Sue.

Luke on Christmas morning opening up some of his gifts.

Luke's first Christmas in Florida....
This did not just happen, I'm just really slow at posting pictures. This year he got the concept, and had a lot of fun opening all his gifts!

The zoo had a special Christmas night open to all the members, so we went to meet Santa, and check out the zoo all light up. They did a great job, it was absolutely beautiful with lights on everything, and "snow" falling.

O. k. so my pictures are just a wee bit out of order. Luke still likes to sit on the lawn-mower. The only thing he is missing is grandpa, well...and maybe some grass.

Luke was mesmerized by this train display at the aquarium. He stayed and watched it go for about a half hour, till mom and dad dragged him away.

This is a video from Christmas. I have a few more I will try to post, but getting them on the blog takes forever and right before I finish it usually times out and deletes itself. Very very frustrating, but I'm working on it.
                                                        A few random aquarium photos.

Luke looking tough in the tub
Birthday photos, again very much out of order

Luke blowing out his candles. I'm guessing he wished for a big fork for the cake

                                                          Oohh...and Christmas again :)
